What if i have to go inactive for a while?

That is completely fine as long as you make sure everyone knows by posting it in the General Discussions topic. Make sure to include approximately how long you'll be gone for and everything will be fine

Being inactive for more than four days requires you to make an 'away' topic.

What will happen if I stay inactive for a long time without telling anyone?

Well, if you have a notable position within the FAYZ, then after five days someone underneath you will take your position. Characters inactive for over a year will 'FAYZ out' or die. Going inactive is really unfair to anyone you have a thread with, and is especially unfair if it hinders the progression of the site plot.

If I lose my position, can I earn it back?

Of course! But it will most likely take a lot longer and you might have to work from the ground up. And bear in mind if the person who took your role is enthusiastic about it and doesn't slack off, say goodbye to your old job. You could always take up another career path though.
