Personality: Malia is friendly enough, though she doesn’t go out of her way to be nice. She’s a fairly normal teenage girl (well, was), you know, the kind of person who remembers silly celebrity facts and giggles in a kind of goofy way but is also deadly serious about the important stuff (lives/well-being of friends, rights, ethics, etc.). Sometimes lazy and gets angry real fast (although she forgives you real fast too). Also a pyromaniac. The girl’s obsessed with fire.

Power: Malia transforms into fire. She can keep a sort of human shape or go into different shapes or split (sort of like Mogget from the Abhorsen trilogy) though she can’t stay split for long. She can also transform just parts of her body, but that takes a lot of energy. Also, when in fire form she can be controlled by a pyrokinetic. Two bars.

Weapons: Steel pipe or her power.

History: Played with a fire a lot when she was little. Neither her parents nor her friends found out until she accidentally burned her arm three days before her tenth birthday. That was when she was diagnosed as a pyromaniac and was sent to Coates. On the day of the FAYZ, her mother had just decided to pull her out of Coates and had taken her out to lunch to celebrate down in town when the wall came up. Nowadays she just tries to get by and is doing around average--eating at least once a day, not really sick, doesn't get in a lot of fights, just tries to stay out of the way and protect herself.
